Primus Green Energy’s June 2012 Demonstration Plant Dedication Ceremony

On Friday, June 22, 2012, Primus Green Energy hosted a dedication ceremony to commemorate the construction of its $7 million demonstration plant in Hillsborough, New Jersey. The plant is expected to be completed by Q1 2013, and will produce as much as 5 barrels of gasoline per day from natural gas or biomass.

The event was a great success due to the efforts of Antenna Group, and the Primus Green Energy team. Nearly 100 guests attended the event, and a wide range of speakers including New Jersey Governor Florio, DEP Assistant Commissioner Robert Marshall, USDA State Director Howard Hansen, US Congressman Leonard Lance, BPU Commissioner Joe Fiordaliso, State Senator Christopher Bateman, Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula, and Energy Vision President Joanna Underwood.

After the speakers gave their closing remarks, Primus Green Energy CEO Robert Johnsen and IC Green President Yom Tov Samia poured a sample of the 93-octane bio-gasoline into a 2010 Chevrolet Cruze. Former New Jersey Governor Florio took the car for a quick test drive.

Guests then had the opportunity to tour the pilot plant facilities. VP of Business Development George Boyajian guided the tours, including a demonstration of the syngas to gasoline process.
