Dr. Gal is a technology and engineering executive with more than 15 patents in the United States and worldwide. His expertise includes gas-to-liquids technologies, chemical processes, coal and biomass gasification processes, air pollution control, cleantech and water treatment. His experience includes 14 years with GE Power Systems in the development and operation of gasifiers, heat integration and heat recovery systems, cleanup systems of high efficiency and low cost air pollution control technologies. Notably, he was the first winner of the Kleiner Perkins Caufield Green Technology Innovation Award. Dr. Gal holds a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and received his doctorate from the City University of New York.
