Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Miller began his career with Shell Technology Ventures working to commercialize new process technology developed in-house by Shell. From there, he joined PanCanadian Energy Services (now Encana) in the Risk Management group responsible for hedging Canadian natural gas being delivered to the Mid-Continent and Pacific Northwest markets in the United States.  With the deregulation of the power generation business, Mr. Miller joined Calpine Corporation where he held increasingly senior positions in project development, asset management, and finance primarily relating to the company’s fleet of co-generation facilities located along the Houston Ship Channel with industrial hosts including Lyondell-Citgo, Chevron Phillips, Shell, Bayer, Celanese, and Dow.  In 2004, Mr. Miller helped form a series a private companies focused on upstream and midstream development in emerging markets in West Africa and South America.  Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the South and a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Development from Texas A&M University.
