With more than 30 years of experience as an industrial scientist, Dr. Fang serves as Primus’ chief fuels scientist and leads the company’s chemistry team. He has held positions with Exxon Mobil’s corporate research center, BP’s corporate research center and Cummins Inc. in basic and applied industrial research. Dr. Fang has focused on various aspects of diesel emission control, fuel and lubricant technologies and petrochemical processes with an emphasis on chemometrics, alternate energy sources and catalysis, laser spectroscopy and after-treatment systems. He has authored/co-authored 90 articles and six book chapters and has been awarded 10 patents. He received his bachelor’s degree in analytical chemistry from the National Taiwan University and his doctorate in physical chemistry from Michigan State University.
