Dr. Koros has wide experience in reactor design, reaction kinetics, catalysis, engineering of complex reaction systems and processing in the petroleum and chemical industries. In addition to his leading role in reaction engineering efforts at Primus, he serves as founder and president of KSK Consulting, LLC, providing expertise to petroleum and chemical companies on reactor engineering, related process issues, safety and scale-up. Previously, Dr. Koros spent nearly 40 years in Engineering Technology and Process Research at Exxon/ExxonMobil Research and Engineering, most of it as a technical group leader and most recently serving as a company Engineering Advisor, an executive level technical position. He is a Fellow of AIChE, as well as a founding member and former president of the ASTM Catalyst Committee D32, has been awarded more than 25 patents throughout his career and has lectured and published widely. He has been an active member of the AIChE and the International Symposium on Chemical Reaction Engineering. Dr. Koros received his doctorate in chemical engineering from Princeton University and his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University.
